WELLNESS WORK

At Concrete Cardinal, Wellness Work is more than self-care—it’s an invitation to reconnect, heal, and grow in mind, body, and spirit. From gentle yoga and somatic practices that soothe the nervous system, to grief recovery and sound medicine that support emotional release, each offering is designed to guide you toward greater awareness, balance, and resilience.

Yoga

As a Kripalu certified yoga instructor, Andrea offers a Hatha Yoga-based practice emphasizing meditation, compassion, and self-awareness to develop  a harmonious relationship between the mind, body, and spirit. Traditional yoga postures (asanas), breathwork (pranayama), and a pervasive spirit of self-observation without judgement offer an empathetic and intuitive approach to the practice that is not in pursuit of a perfect pose or achievement. This form of yoga can be practiced by people of all ages and fitness levels.

Somatic Yoga

Andrea also specializes in Yoga & Somatics, with a therapeutic approach to wellness.  This practice offers an emphasis on  healing & recovery with attention on the nervous system and nurturing of embodied awareness to move through and beyond  stress, trauma, burnout, anxiety, and fatigue.

Grief Recovery

An individual or group evidence based recovery method and program to help those struggling  with various types of loss and grief, whether it be related to a career, relationship, health and wellness or a loved one. Sometimes the who, how and what helps us heal doesn’t make sense. Reaching out for support however, does. And it’s a sign of great strength, not weakness. Grief is emotional, not logical. The Grief Recovery Method process allows you to complete emotional pain from any type of loss without analysis, criticism or judgement.
